Description

I find the concept of a Tree of life really fascinating and continue to explore and enjoy working with this subject.

In this artwork, I have shown 2 love birds at the centre of the tree, symbolic of LOVE being the essence of our lives.
These are followed by leaves and flowers in the outer circles. The last one in the outermost circle are ANTS, symbolising that even the smallest creatures add their bit to our ecosystem!
The Deer & the Elephant are symbolic of all our wildlife, and the presence of water and fishes indicative of a harmonious balance in our environment.

I have immensely enjoyed making this and have added a touch of gold colour, which is not the norm in Madhubani folk art painting!
